Gary Anderson

Gary Anderson
President / CEO

  Mr. Anderson is President and CEO of Netbriefings. Prior to Netbriefings, he was founder, President and Chairman of SPS Commerce, an e-commerce company. During his tenure there, the company went through multiple rounds of venture funding, raising more than $58 million. The company is now on track for a nationally based IPO. Prior to founding SPS Commerce, he was Vice President for Northern Numbers, a start-up software development company that developed general accounting software. He was also a technology consultant for Open Systems, a start-up company that was eventually sold for $15 million dollars.

Mr. Anderson was a founding member and board member of the Minnesota Software Association and the Minnesota Software Technology Center, and is active with AeA, the Minnesota High Technology Association, the Minnesota Chapter of the Council of Growing Companies and the International Webcasting Association. Mr. Anderson serves on the boards of ASI DataMyte and Infoscan.

Mr. Anderson attended Mankato Technical College, where he graduated from its Computer Technology Program before specializing in Computer Science and Business at Mankato State University, in Mankato, Minnesota.

Roger Anderson

Roger Anderson
Chief Technology Officer

  Mr. Anderson has over 20 years experience in Technology, Development, Information Services, Production and Quality. Previous to joining Netbriefings, Mr. Anderson was Senior Vice President of Operations and co-founder at SPS Commerce where he oversaw the implementation of e-commerce solutions for mid-market enterprises and services focusing on the UNIX and NT client/server marketplaces. Mr. Anderson brings a vast hands-on experience of high technology solutions for businesses throughout the world. This plus his technical and product management experience makes him a dynamic addition to the management team.

Mr. Anderson has Bachelor degrees in both Management and Computer Science from Minnesota State University in Mankato, Minnesota.

Charles Peters

Charles Peters
Director of Corporate Development

  Mr. Peters previously served Applied Statistics (ASI) developing large corporate accounts in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, automotive and aerospace industries. He managed the Coca Cola Enterprises account as a corporate ASI partner for 6 years, generating over $430K in revenue annually as a single account. He coordinated the setup of technology teams, to assist and service each corporate partnership to insure that the highest level of serviceability exceeded client expectations. The corporate relationships were used to provide direction in the development of future software technologies that added value to the corporate partnerships. This approach insured that ASI stayed on the cutting edge of technology development from the customeršs perspective.

Mr. Peters is a graduate of University Minnesota Duluth with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in ergonomics of human factors.

Justin Baker

Justin Baker
Corporate Development

  Mr. Baker is responsible for developing sales and maintaining new accounts. He has experience in the development, management and execution of sales processes including lead generation, pipeline management, account planning, sales strategy and development. He is familiar with both collaborative and streaming products and is able to relay to customers the benefits of embracing webcasting as a company-wide tool

Mr. Baker graduated with a BA in Psychology with a minor in Leadership Management from Kansas State University, KS.

Jeanneane Kloss

Jeanneane Kloss
Director of Marketing

  Ms. Kloss is responsible for the direction of the Company's marketing programs, website and its suite of products. While at Netbriefings, she has implemented a strategy for lead generation using search engines, set up onsite workshops for lead nurturing, and was instrumental in the development of new product interfaces. Ms. Kloss has revamped the Company's corporate image and instituted a new branded look. Prior to joining Netbriefings, she worked at SPS Commerce and was responsible for the company's branded identity, marketing collateral, advertising and mailing campaigns and the design of its internet services, website and portal interface.

Ms. Kloss has a Bachelors degree in Marketing from St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

Walter Ralston

Walter Ralston
Manager of Training and Production

  Mr. Ralston is responsible for implementing managed services at Netbriefings. He has worked in the high tech industry for more than 20 years with a focus on enhancing customer experience at the interface of users and computer technology. He has provided and managed training, documentation, and support responsibilities at a number of business software providers. His positions include Senior Technical Analyst at Pearson NCS, Manager of Support and Quality Assurance at Computer Law Systems, and Manager of Training, Documentation and Quality at SPS Commerce before coming to Netbriefings.

Mr. Ralston has an undergraduate science degree from Wheaton College, Illinois and graduate degrees from the Universities of Massachusetts and Minnesota. He also has more than five years of college teaching experience.

Rich Daly

Rich Daly
Board Member

  Mr. Daly is the President of CONSATECH, Inc.; a management, consulting, and investment firm founded in 1986 specializing in serving emerging companies, particularly in the computer software and services industry. Mr. Daly received both Bachelor of Engineering and Business degrees as well as an MBA from the University of Minnesota. Over the past ten years, he has served as a business advisor to over 100 start-up and emerging computer software and service companies, has been the founder of six, and serves as a member of the Board of Directors for several companies.

He has broad experience in planning and implementation of business and product strategies for these companies with particular emphasis on market-driven, high-growth rate environments. Mr. Daly is highly knowledgeable in developing and implementing financial plans to successfully meet both "start-up" financing as well as other significant financial needs of rapidly growing, emerging companies. Prior to CONSATECH Mr. Daly, was the CEO of Comserv Corporation. Mr. Daly took Comserv through start-up to public offering. Comserv was the first Software Company in the state of Minnesota to become publicly traded.

Jack Johnson

Jack Johnson
Board Member

  Jack Johnson is Chief Operating Officer of CotterWeb Enterprises, an internet advertising and marketing firm, and President of Hanstel, a holding company owning and operating Cartridge World franchises. Previously, Mr. Johnson was CEO of Active IQ, a NASDAQ firm (AIQ) selling and delivering hosted document management services to focused vertical markets. The company was acquired by Stellent (STEL) when Mr. Johnson was Vice President of Hosted Solutions. Prior to this, Mr. Johnson was President and Chief Operating Officer of Sopheon/Teltech Resource Network Corporation where he led the company through the transition from a professional services research firm to a company that generates, manages, and delivers technical and business content over the Internet through a unique combination of proprietary software and human expertise. In addition, he sits on the Board of Directors at Allied Development and on the Advisory Board of Directors at Lifeworks.

Mr. Johnson's professional career includes roles as Vice President and General Manager of database management services at National Computer Systems; President and General Manager of Sabre Systems and Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Moore Corporations; Branch Sales Manager of General Electric Information Services; and Marketing Representative for IBM Service Bureau Company.

Mr. Johnson earned a Masters of Science Degree from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor of Science degree from the U.S. Naval Academy.

Paul Miller

Paul Miller
Board Member

  Paul Miller was with Acton Construction from 1955 until 1988. In 1975, Mr. Miller took over Acton as President and CEO when the company was on the verge of bankruptcy. Under Mr. Miller's guidance, Acton grew from a substantial negative net worth operation to a financially successful enterprise, making it possible for Mr. Miller to retire from the construction business and actively pursue real estate and other financial interests. Since that time, Mr. Miller has been a financial backer of a number of small companies. He is currently a significant investor and an active board member in Medical CV, ASI DataMyte and Netbriefings.

Doug Ernie

Douglas Ernie, Ph.D.
Technology Advisory Board Member

  Dr. Ernie currently directs the University of Minnesota's (UofM) UNITE Instructional Television program. This center at the university delivers graduate level engineering and science curriculum to distance learners by Asynchronous Streaming Video Technology over the Internet and by live broadcast television. This service provides both on-campus and off-campus classes to remote students. Dr. Ernie has been very active in reviewing the Netbriefings product architecture and has been instrumental in recommending features that are needed but not present in product currently on the market. He is well known in both the Distant Learning Industry and the Engineering Education Community. He has extensive experience in visualizing the technology direction of the future and implementing cutting-edge solutions for distance learning. Dr. Ernie has a Ph.D. in Physics and has been active in both teaching and research in electrical and computer engineering for over two decades. His background includes expertise in computer and network systems and curriculum development based on alternative learning paradigms.
